I write this blog in a collection of simple Markdown files, but a stack of amazing open-source technology powers the delivery, and I didn't have to write that myself. This page is to acknowledge what makes this possible. (Definitely not an exhaustive list, but these are the most visible to me.)
- Marmite - to turn my Markdown directory into pretty HTML
- typos - a spell checker optimized for code to catch my typos
- lychee - to spot broken links
- Vinyl cache - a web accelerator (proxy+cache) to make things faster and absorb spikes
- FreeBSD - the OS powering my homelab
- OpenBSD - the OS powering my hosted VPS
- httpd, relayd, and acme-client - because a solid web stack in the base system is so nice
- Let's Encrypt - for making TLS encryption accessible to everybody
- openbsd.amsterdam - for providing a high-quality hosting service and supporting the OpenBSD community
- GNU Emacs - because decades of work and billions of dollars still can't produce a better editor
